Responding to an allegation of misconduct can be an impactful experience and can bring up complicated feelings or questions. Support for students who have been charged with violating the Code of Student Conduct is available through our office.
Through Respondent Services, students work with an assigned Case Manager who can provide them with resources, information, and referrals as they respond to charges through the conduct process. These charges can include misconduct as outlined in the Student Code of Conduct, the Sexual Violence and Harassment Policy, and the Anti-Discrimination Policy. Our goal is to support students’ chosen level of engagement in the conduct process by helping students be fully informed of relevant policies and procedures and receive assistance with connecting with other support services.
If you are a student who has been accused of misconduct and you’d like to connect with our office for respondent services assistance, please email csi@berkeley.edu or call 510-664-4218.
