Camille Wiener

Camille Wiener (she/they) is a third-year undergraduate studying public health and gender studies. Upon graduation, Camille plans to earn a MSW/MPH dual-degree and pursue a career as a licensed clinical social worker. In addition to their work with the Harm Reduction Expansion Project, Camille works as a residential counselor at San Francisco SafeHouse, a transitional housing program for unhoused survivors of sexual exploitation and sex-trafficking. She also has two years of experience as a peer-health educator for UC Berkeley’s Health Worker Program and is currently interning with the Sexual Health Education Program. Their passion for addressing systemic inequities in healthcare comes from their own experience navigating the healthcare system as a queer, low-income, and disabled individual from a medically underserved population in Central California. Outside of school, Camille also loves to crochet, journal, hike, and spend time with her cat, Honeyfern.
