Paula Marquez (she/her) is a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Public Health and minoring in Data Science at UC Berkeley. She was born and raised in the Bay Area and is passionate about improving systems of healthcare delivery to reduce inequitable health outcomes by increasing advocacy and accessibility to healthcare within community spaces. She is currently a facilitator for the Decolonizing Bodies in Public Health (PH 198 DeCal) on campus and has supplemented her learning through a number of volunteering experiences both on the UC Berkeley campus and within the surrounding community. In her free time, Paula loves cooking, doing arts and crafts with friends, and spending time with her family.
